Iowa Caucus Chaos

The Iowa caucus was supposed to narrow the Democratic presidential field, but instead it caused confusion as precincts ran into technical problems reporting results to the state party. The Iowa Democratic party released almost two-thirds of the results by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, but questions remained about how the various campaigns fared, and what shape the race would take heading into the primary in New Hampshire. Jim Braude was joined by Alethea Harney, former press secretary for Senator Elizabeth Warren’s 2012 campaign for Senate and former campaign adviser for Joe Biden’s 2008 presidential run; and Wilnelia Rivera, chief strategist for Rep. Ayanna Pressley’s congressional campaign and founder of Rivera Consulting.
